The Versace autumn/winter latest collection has come out with its cutting-edge fashion lifestyle with the spirit of masculine energy, balance and contrast blends.
One of the world’s leading fashion designer houses shows play of balance and contrast in a modern silhouette of voluminous cropped coats, mid-calf skirts, pencil-thin trousers and short dresses with billowing pleats that kept under control with graphic bands which wrap around the body.
In addition, the Italian prestige of Versace creates wonderful pieces of art in the embroidered printed dresses that is inspired by the Dutch born artist Tim Roeloffs. Undoubtedly, the three-dimensional quality of Tim’s art in the dresses allures those high-heeled ladies craving into a new fad.
Day shoes and 15cm heel evening sandals included in the collection highlight the harmonious contrast between the feminine and the urban; rounded toes of the stiletto platform-pump sandal “Icon”, pointed heel connected to the sole with a thick bolt of the tough and elegant “Lux” sandal, also two-toned rounded leather with suede pump and a solid buckle of “Snap” shoes.
Strong urban colours of patent leathers, crocodile, and quilted nappa leather with the Medusa symbol appear in Versace bag collection along with industrial tones of steel grey, cadet blue, smoky hues and blush with violent accent of intense purple, fuchsia and yellow.
Versace “Kiss” bag offers clean design with gold chain handles or over the shoulder strap. The “Luxe” bag appears in a luxurious and unique shape with eye catching stitching, a double holdall shape, gold detailing and extra internal pockets; all available in military blue, violet and khaki brown. A stylish rectangular shaped handbag “Soul” available in seductive strong colours such as military blue, bright red, black and violet. “Jewel” shows combination of a soft holdall and constructed urban lines, offering possibility to use as a handbag or over the shoulder.
A non-aggressive masculine energy that takes in a sense of mystery and refinement is featured in Versace’s men collection for both seasons this year. The inspiration comes from Tamara de Lempicka’s paintings showing the portrait of Doctor Boucard and Tadeusz de Lempicki wearing overcoats with sharp square outlines depicting typical of the Art Deco period.
Versace overcoat performs in distinctive drapes on the yoke like a cape, reminding us of a Russian greatcoat. It also appears like a contemporary evening cloak. The built-in hood jackets closely fitted to the body, depicting a cross between a parka and a businessman’s uniform. They are best worn with tapered trousers but not tight, and shirts with prominent collars that signify a noble attitude.
With various colours of elegant midnight black and espresso-coffee black, royal, cadet or peacock blue, the darkest violet hues from amethyst to aubergine, and a classy shade of dark red, the autumn/winter collection will surely enchant those males who like to pamper themselves in elegancy.
