To celebrate the first anniversary of their chart-topping album Hackney Diamonds, The Rolling Stones are releasing a limited-edition vinyl this winter. The 2-LP set, available from December 6, will feature not only the original tracks from the album but also seven exclusive live recordings from the album’s launch party at Racket in New York City in October 2023.
This special edition includes live renditions of popular singles like “Angry,” “Sweet Sounds of Heaven,” and “Mess It Up,” along with additional performances such as “Shattered,” “Tumbling Dice,” and “Jumpin’ Jack Flash.” Notably, it also features a live version of “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” with Lady Gaga.
Released a year ago, Hackney Diamonds marked The Rolling Stones’ first studio album of original material since 2005. The album achieved global success, topping charts in 19 countries and selling over a million copies. The lead single “Angry” was nominated for Best Rock Song at the 2024 GRAMMY® Awards and became the band’s first Top 40 hit in the U.K. in 18 years. This year, The Rolling Stones further captivated fans with a Hackney Diamonds stadium tour across the U.S.
