An Intimate Delicacy of Mediterranean Dining
A visit to Marché Grand Indonesia can be translated not only as having a wonderful culinary experience, but also exploring the living of Ticino area, a home of natural drink-water lakes in Switzerland, Lake Maggiore and Lake Lugano.
Marché Grand Indonesia highlights different strong visual and physical elements at each section. The restaurant’s elegant décor, including a massive bricks column and arches, wood beam ceiling, floor made of granite, terra cotta, marble, walls of rough stone, brick and rough plaster all set the tone of typical building in Ticino. “The place is smartly designed to take guests into villas and buildings in Ticino,” Andrew asserted.
With the uniqueness and distinct of Marché® design concept, the restaurant is decorated with original dishes, pans, and reproduction elements of lighting, vases and baskets – all of which are original collection from Ticino. Marché Grand Indonesia creates a friendly ambience that fits the needs of family, friends and business colleagues. “Especially with the presence of a private chimney room, a wine lounge with a cozy seating arrangement, a new adventure area for our Little Guests with slide and climbing features and natural toys, the restaurant can accommodate guests at the most favorable circumstances ranging from meetings to children activities and birthday party” he added. What makes Marché Grand Indonesia more prestigious is that we have two Swiss artists paint the wall and ceiling with Mediterranean style.
A fabulous Swiss-Italian Ingredient
Marché Grand Indonesia offers upscale dining for lunch and dinner in a cozy Mediterranean feeling. The menu offers all fresh and locally homemade (after original Swiss recipes and spices) such as the Swiss Famous Rösti, sausages, seafood grill, just to name a few. All the grills will be made by wooden fire and served with a unique flavor. “The Swiss-Italian’s flair has influenced the scrumptious fresh-food presentations such as sandwiches served cold or toasted with homemade spreads,” said Thomas Sjamsul, executive chef and quality manager Indonesia for Marché International.
Marché® Restaurants are well-known for their wide variety of fresh foods. Products are selected based upon seasonal availability and are freshly prepared right before the guests’ eyes. First opened its restaurant in 1983, Marché® has pioneered the concept of the “front cooking”. High standards of freshness and quality are complimented by the laid-back “marketplace” ambience that meets the needs of quality conscious guests in search of healthy food and transparency of production.
