Evoking the historic art of the cocktail into modern flair, the presence of B-Bar brings more sensational nightlife to Florida’s hippest and most happening city.
Venturing down the wood-paneled staircase in the lobby of Betsy Hotel in Miami, Florida, visitors can find a classy secret bar nestled in the hotel’s basement. It’s the B-Bar, a jewel box that takes on vintage glamour, representing both classic and contemporary ambience.
Stepping inside, visitors can sense the elegance of the classic nightclub of the 1920’s, the sultry pin-up side of Betsy – the Vargas Girl – the intoxicating femme fatale that men can’t resist.
The bar is furnished with a comforting cocoon of dark red hues, shades of lavender and deep purple. The elegant black vinyl ceiling gives an illusion of being adrift that draws visitors’ eyes to look upward to the exhilarating mirror image. Hand cut Parisian crystal lamps add the complimentary golden glow, creating a sense of the ethereal to the deep underground lounge.
The charming waiters and bartenders will greet visitors with various cocktails on the menu such as Hendricks Gin based Blue Velvet and Black Pearl with Corner Creek Bourbon. The presence of B-Bar at Betsy Hotel is also one way to romance guests and visitors. The music played in the bar envelops visitors, but allowing casual conversation in the intimate space.
Last December, the American esteemed email magazine Urban Daddy claimed B-Bar as “Everything that was important to Miami nightlife.” Whilst, The Sun Post included B-Bar in their “Guide to Some of the Year’s Best Moments in Miami.”
Distinguished locals, New Yorkers and various international visitors make up the crowd at B-Bar, making it the most sought after night spot in South Beach of Miami.
B-Bar is designed by Callin Fortis of Big Time Design Studios. He is a nightlife legend in entertainment industry. With more than twenty years of experience in applying the concepts of design, architecture and high end hospitality, Fortis has created iconic clubs such as Cameo, Rain, Vinyl and many more.
“The B-Bar is intentionally crafted with French mid-century contemporary styling which rests delicately on top of true nightclub bones,” Fortis envisions.
